Our approach

A clearer guide to the veg scene.

Veg in Singapore helps you discover food that fits your taste, dietary practice and occasion. We curate original summaries from business websites, ordering pages and published references.

What a dietary label means

Vegan and vegetarian

Vegan excludes animal ingredients including eggs, dairy and honey. Vegetarian establishments may use these ingredients. A business-stated vegan offering is not an independent ingredient audit.

Egg-free and dairy-free

These tags are added when published business information supports them. A vegan business statement supports both tags, but does not establish allergy safety or cross-contact controls.

No onion / garlic

We distinguish broad menu statements from selected modifications. If you avoid other alliums, supplier sauces or shared preparation, confirm your exact requirements directly.

Jain on request

This tag requires an explicit published offer of Jain preparation. It is not inferred from an egg-free or no-onion/no-garlic menu. Confirm root vegetables and your specific practice when ordering.

Opening hours and prices

Open-now filtering uses Singapore time and includes only listings with usable published hours. Holidays and last orders can differ. Prices describe the specified published item, not an average bill or guaranteed current price.

Sources and freshness

The launch collection was researched on 14 October 2026. Each listing includes source links and relevant uncertainty. We aggregate factual venue details from public sources; we do not republish directory reviews, photos or descriptions. Directory-sourced entries do not receive unconfirmed egg-free, dairy-free, Jain or allium-free tags. We prioritise business sources; where an address comes from a published third-party reference, the listing notes it. The expanded directory contains hundreds of outlet and provider listings. The directory includes fully vegetarian establishments and mixed-menu restaurants with sourced vegetarian offerings. Banana leaf and mamak/prata describe dining formats; 24 hours and late night derive from usable published schedules. Some are directory-supported discovery entries; business-source checks are identified separately. It is not an exhaustive Singapore directory.

Independent curation

Listings are not paid endorsements. We do not invent review scores, claim visits we have not made, or copy another directory’s descriptions. Food imagery on the homepage is illustrative and does not depict a listed restaurant.

Planning together

The meal planner combines dietary filters. Its results are a shortlist to investigate, not confirmation of seating capacity, event availability or suitability for every guest. Contact businesses directly for reservations and quotations.
